Netscape 4.7 SMTP Authentication

To begin the setup process double click the Netscape icon on your desktop or select it from the Start Menu under Programs.

1. Launch Netscape Messenger.

2. Select Edit from the menu bar and choose Preferences.

3. On the left side, under Category, click the + next to the Mail and Newsgroups. This should expand to show the sub-categories.

4. Click the Mail Servers sub-category. (Figure 1)

5. On the right side, in the "Outgoing Mail Server" section, enter your username in the "Outgoing mail server user name" field.

6. Click OK.

Your account is now setup for sending mail with HunTel.net.

Hosted Domains

For email accounts other than @huntel.net that are registered and hosted by HunTel.net, you need to follow the procedures above and make sure that your Account name is still setup to be your ENTIRE EMAIL ADDRESS.
