Outlook 2002 (XP) SMTP Authentication

To begin the setup process double click the Outlook icon on your desktop or select it from the Start Menu under Programs.

1. Launch Outlook.

2. Select Tools from the menu bar and choose Email Accounts.

3. Select "View or change existing accounts" and click Next. (Figure 1) 

4. Highlight your HunTel.net email account and click Change. (Figure 2)

5. Click More Settings in the lower right corner. (Figure 3) 

6. Click the Outgoing Server tab.

7. Check the box next to "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication." (Figure 4) 

8. Click Ok to save changes.

Your account is now setup for sending mail with HunTel.net.

Hosted Domains

For email accounts other than @huntel.net that are registered and hosted by HunTel.net, you need to follow the procedures above and make sure that your Account name is still setup to be your ENTIRE EMAIL ADDRESS.
