Mac Mail SMTP Authentication

To begin the setup process, click the Mail Application on the docking bar.

1. Launch Mac Mail.

2. Click the Mail menu at the top of the screen then click Preferences.

3. Along the top of the Mail Preferences window will be a series of icons ("Accounts", "Fonts & Colors" "Viewing", etc.), click the Accounts Icon if it is not already selected.  (Figure 1)

4. Highlight your HunTel.net account and click Edit.

5. Add a check to the box that says "Use Authentication when sending mail" and enter your username and password.  (Figure 2)

6. Click OK.

Your account is now setup for sending mail with HunTel.net.

Hosted Domains

For email accounts other than @huntel.net that are registered and hosted by HunTel.net, you need to follow the procedures above and make sure that your Account name is still setup to be your ENTIRE EMAIL ADDRESS.
