Eudora SMTP Authentication

In order for authenticated SMTP to work you MUST have version 4.3 or greater.  You can read what Eudora says about  authenticated SMTP in this article. 

How do I know what version I have?
Upgrade now to version 5.

To begin the setup process double click the Eudora icon on your desktop or select it from the Start Menu under Programs.

1. Launch Eudora.

2. Select Tools from the menu bar and choose Options. 

3. In the Category menu on the left, click on Sending Mail.

4. Place a check in the box that says "Allow Authentication."  (Figure 1)

5. Click OK.

Your account is now setup for sending mail with HunTel.net.

Hosted Domains

For email accounts other than @huntel.net that are registered and hosted by HunTel.net, you need to follow the procedures above and make sure that your Account name is still setup to be your ENTIRE EMAIL ADDRESS.
